sure it's smaller,
but it's not extinguished.
make no mistake,
the day of your snuffing is out there
but it's not today,
not now,
so get up -
you still can
do it
even if there is no good reason
do it
in spite of everything
do it
because death doesn't need
your help.
I'm not sure if this is exhortation to self or another but it has a caustic feel which seeps into my consciousness.
